just watched this the other night ( nouveaux release ), its a very good film, strong story, lots of slow building suspense.
anyone who hasnt should check it out, its a winner.

What sub-genre of Giallo does this belong to again? I find it rather hard to place myself...

Yes, it is a rather odd one and has that kind of Zeder vibe to it. I'd say it falls somewhere between classic and fantastic Giallo. It's neither one nor the other. Great film though, a firm favourite here at Chateau Daemonia. :)

Hi Stephen - this is what Shameless had to say about this...

"We have decided to remove the side frames to titles such as Dellamorte Dellamore and House with Laughing Windows to give more width to the image therefore creating more depth to the overall result. We felt both images and background needed to come out of the frame in such a way to display the front nearly more horizontally rather then vertically."

I hate the cover options for this release, but I actually think artwork number
one benefits from the missing side border! :biggrin: ;-)
