A few weeks back I read Robert W chambers King in yellow. It's a good book and a reccomended read for fans of horror and fantay fiction. While jobless i've decided to dabble with a little creative writing and i've written a short story based on Chambers book. Its flawed and my writing skills need some work but as a first effort I dont think its terrible.
The order of the yellow sign.

So far unemployment is dull, I'm applying for jobs, two a day minimum though some days its pretty tough as theres not a great deal about.
I think one of the main problems is if/when I get something it'll have nothing to do with films, the tedium of a regular days work waiting to get home. It dosent help that i'm painfully single right now as well. This wasnt an issue so much when I was working, I had a lot on my plate and plenty of friends so the few evenings I had to myself usually involved...

Anyone else fed up with region locked blue-rays? Personally I love my ps3, it has great playback and is very easy to update, unfortunately its also difficult at best to make multi region, and any attempt to do so will be thwarted by the next firmware update.
So recently I picked up a blue-ray double bill of KEOMA/GRAND DUAL released by a company called mill creek. Everything they released up till now was totally region-free, and as the discs were so damned cheap it was well worth...

Well, its been a pretty crappy new year in most respects, fortunately theres been more than a few good home entertainment releases that help take my mind off it.
We're living in what the chinese refer to as 'interesting times'. When they refered to interesting times they meant it as a curse and it's not to hard to see why. The whole global economy is on life support, and needing constant resussatation to make sure it dosent fall asleep amd never wake up, the world energy resources are dwindling...
