- 24th April 2014 06:43 PM - permalinkBringer Of FuneralsIf you had a chance - would you live in the mansion of Resident Evil without all the zombies and other horrors?
- 3rd May 2013 11:25 PM - permalinkDemdike@Cult LabsI saw Saints and Soldiers II just after Xmas. Very good, perhaps not as good as the original but i hope they do more.
- 7th November 2012 10:36 PM - permalinkDemdike@Cult LabsThanks Pedro. I will certainly pick that up then. Its in Asda for £8.
- 7th November 2012 09:55 PM - permalinkDemdike@Cult LabsHave you watched Saints and Soldiers II yet Pedro?
Just seen the first one again and really enjoyed it. I was wondering what you thought of the sequel. - 27th October 2011 05:39 PM - permalinkDemdike@Cult LabsBrilliant new avatar Pedro. Hans Moleman (actually it could be Abe) is one of my favourite characters. Its quite small, it is Abe Simpson isn't it, not Hans.? Oh well nevermind.
- 22nd September 2011 10:29 PM - permalinkCap. Vic RobotPants M.D.Happy late Birthday!
- 28th February 2011 10:38 PM - permalinkbizarre_eye@Cult LabsGood luck with that ped - it's hard to get a break nowadays with the volume of review sites around. Have you tried contacting 10,000 Bullets? I think they usually take on reviewers through the strength of their blogs... could be worth a shot if you can't find distributors willing to send you screeners.
- 28th February 2011 10:15 PM - permalinkbizarre_eye@Cult LabsI'll be sure to check 'em out.
I admire your blog tenacity; I gave up on mine a while ago, I often ponder starting it up again (or at least writing a review every so often). - 28th February 2011 09:31 PM - permalinkbizarre_eye@Cult LabsI've just been checking out your blog - nice review of Night Train Murders (and I completely agree with you on your assessment of LHOTL too).
Another really good film that uses the LHOTL formula (and again is better than Craven's effort imo) is Last House on the Beach with Florinda Bolkan and Ray Lovelock. If you liked NTM you should definitely check it out mate. - 17th January 2011 01:53 AM - permalinknekromantikthats kool

Zombie films, there are so many and alot of
them have a reputation, The Video Dead is one of them. Made in 1987 for televison, it was bound to have a low budget and was restricted in what it could do with that budget. The film has some interesting ideas too.
THE PLOT:
An unlabelled crate from an unknown source is delivered to a house in the woods. The homeowner...

THE DEATH AND RE-BIRTH OF A SUB GENRE
BY PEDROMONKEY
