I have been advised by Tony from Shipping Records to buy the deluxe edition from Waxwork directly because the retail version pales by comparison! Personally, as much as I love the film I'm not desperately feeling the need to get the special variant and I'll be more than happy to get the regular edition to have in my collection

As long as you go on over to the Waxwork site within a day of it being announced I'm sure you'll be OK. The Taxi Driver one sold out the next day and they still have the 'Taxi Yellow' edition now.

I know this isn't a soundtrack but the Blondie album Eat to the Beat is currently £9.99 on HMV's website.

It's a superb album and a thread for vinyl junkies is the best place to post it i guess.
