I've had that James radio collection in my Amazon wishlist for ages and never ordered it. Is it really good? |

An American Werewolf On The Radio A radio adaptation by BBC Radio. It uses John Landis' original script, and Landis himself served as creative consultant. It expands on the film in several ways. We get more backstory on the werewolf that attacks David and Jack, and how he's tied to the people in East Proctor. It shows Jack in the afterlife, and how he learns about the curse of the werewolf from a surprising source...the werewolf that killed him. Several cast members reprise their roles. Jenny Agutter as nurse Alex. John Woodvine as Dr. Hirsch. Brian Glover as chess player/George Hackett. It's a great listen, especially driving in the car...at night. If you just want the transformations, the first one is at 1:04:26 and the second one is at 1:33:47
