Keith Nelson is still Buckcherry's guitarist. He has been in the band since they formed. Your sentence suggests he is an ex-member, just saying.

![]() 'The Nightmare Returns' is a short interlude piece, that brings back good memories of the original nightmare. The first part of the song is very creepy, with the keyboards invoking a child's lullaby. Then it turns into something very dramatic Alice Cooper - Vocals Tommy Henrickson - Guitar Steve Hunter - Guitar Bob Ezrin - Keyboards Jimmie Lee Sloas - Bass Scott Williamson - Drums 03/14 - The Nightmare Returns (Cooper, Ezrin) "I'm a little tired and feeling hazy I just need to rest my eyes But I won't go to sleep because it's crazy What happens to me in the night Coz when I go to deep into my slumber Ugly faces, awful places I don't want to go..... no...." The fourth song on the album, 'A Runaway Train', was something that fans had been waiting for since 1973. It reunited Alice with the surviving members of the original ACG. Musically, it's a good hard rocking song As well as Dunaway, Smith and Bruce, this song features the first of the albums 'guest stars'. Guitar is provided by Vince Gill, who is better known as an American Country and Western singer/guitarist. He was actually invited to join Dire Straits in 1991, but he declined the offer (no jokes please!) Alice Cooper - Vocals Dennis Dunaway - Bass Neil Smith - Drums Michael Bruce - Guitar Steve Hunter - Guitar Tommy Henricsen - Guitar Vince Gill - Guitar Bob Ezrin - Piano 04/14 - A Runaway Train (Cooper, Ezrin, Dunaway) Other than demo songs from compilation albums, this is the first song I have been unable to locate on YouTube. I just get the message "This video contains content from UMG, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds". However, it can be found here "I found myself slipping away Just this side of dead I woke up in a box car I wasn't in my bed I found my leg chained to a spike That ran down through the floor Attached to thirteen angry men All rotten to the core But I'm innocent I cried right out I'm in someone else's dream They looked around and laughed out loud Said "Brother, so are we" "Yeah brother, so are we" But I'm a big celebrity Known all round the land "Well buddy you ain't no one here Man, you ain't in demand" Speeding t'wards a flaming wall Like a screaming sonic boom I really gotta wake up now Or I may meet my doom oh lord, I may meet my doom So all that I remember Is how much my body hurt Now I'm sleeping in the graveyard On the wrong side of the dirt Yeah I'm on the wrong side of the dirt Wrong side of the dirt, don`t you know I'm on the wrong side of the dirt"

The fifth song on the album, 'The Last Man On Earth' is a return to the camp, goofy, smokey nightclub songs that Alice used to do. He has stated that he sing it "somewhere between Tom Waits and Jimmy Durante"! Alice Cooper - Vocals Bob Ezrin - Keyboards and Harmonium Scott Williamson - Cocktail Drums Jason Roller - Ganjo and Violin Neil Konouchi - Tuba David Spreng - Guitar The credited writer is Piggy D., who is the bass player with Rob Zombie's band 05/14 - The Last Man On Earth (Cooper, Ezrin, Piggy D., Spreng) "I don't know why my whole world came crashing down I just woke up in lonely town I opened up my eyes and much to my surprise Look at this heaven that I've found Don't need to care about tomorrow I got no pain, I got no sorrow I'm the last man on earth So tell me what it's worth Am I a beggar or a king? Got no trouble, got no time, eternity is mine I got a whole lot of everything I can take this town and just burn it to the ground Smash every window that I see I can smoke, I can drink, I can swear and I can stink There ain't no one to bother me, no no Don't need to care about tomorrow I got no pain, I got no sorrow I'm the last man on earth So tell me what it's worth Am I a beggar or a king? Got no trouble, got no time, eternity is mine I got a whole lot of everything It's all mine... There's not a single soul to talk to me But that's okay I never liked them I'm the last man on earth And I know what it's worth I'm not a beggar I'm a king! Got no troubles, got no time, and everything is fine Coz I'm the king of everything It's all mine... Mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine" The next song is 'The Congregation', which is a heavy pop song, complete with dark guitars and a pounding drumbeat. Alice has stated that this song was heavily influenced by The Beatles. However, the acoustic intro (at least) reminds me of both the intro to the title track of the original '...Nightmare' and also The Who's 'Pinball Wizard' Special guest on this song is Rob Zombie, who (as The Guide) provides the spoken part of the song. It's possible (but not explicitly stated) that this character is an updated version of The Curator from the original '...Nightmare' Alice Cooper - Vocals Rob Zombie - 'The Guide' Steve Hunter - Guitar Tommy Henriksen - Guitar, piano, keyboards, percussion, programming Bob Ezrin - Keyboards Jimmie Lee Sloas - Bass Scott Williamson - Drums 06/14 - The Congregation (Cooper, Ezrin, Henriksen) Like the song 'A Runaway Train' in the previous post, a good version of this is not available on YouTube. There are some live versions, but obviously they do not include the Rob Zombie contribution. However, the studio version can be found here "Now you're here so have no fear, I'm just your friendly guide So come along coz you belong, you joined us when you died From your birth until your final breath I'm proud to say you finally entertained yourself to death Welcome to the congregation I hope we meet your expectation A little tiny pinch of deviation We understand what you had planned goes by another name Where bluebirds sing and church bells ring, well isn't that a shame Your application sadly was denied But let's be clear, we love you here, you're on the other side Welcome to the congregation I hope we meet your expectation We promise it won't stain your reputation The Guide: Ah, as you can see over here the broken glass chamber are the boys from wall street. Let's here it for the boys. And here in the eternal mariachi room for the defrocked priest and telemarketers. And the totally fiery pit of boiling death the lawyers, pimps and mimes... Welcome to the congregation Welcome to the congregation Welcome to the congregation I hope we meet your expectation So thanks for dropping by here We're really gonna try here But in the end you know you're gonna fry.... fry.... fry... here Umm.. excuse me sir, is there a bathroom here? "

![]() 'I'll Bite Your Face Off' was the first single to be released off the album. It's a catchy piece of R&B, which was a homage to The Rolling Stones circa '64/'65 The song was played in concert a long time before the album was released, and to introduce it, Alice would wear a T-Shirt with 'New Song' written on the front, and 'I'll Bite Your Face Off' on the back! This is the second song on the album to feature the original ACG Alice Cooper - Vocals Dennis Dunaway - Bass Neal Smith - Drums Michael Bruce - Guitar Steve Hunter - Guitar Tommy Henriksen - Guitar, Percussion Bob Ezrin - Piano Justin "Kourquie" Corelyou - Trombone Jeremy Rubolino - Brass Orchestration 07/14 - I'll Bite Your Face Off (Cooper, Ezrin, Hendriksen, Smith) "She was a dirty dream, cool and clean With seduction dancing in her eyes She turned around, looked me up and down She took me by surprise I tried to run, I tried to hide But my feet were made of clay Looked in her eyes, I was paralyzed And I just couldn’t get away She licked her lips, they were bloody red She had the heart of the living dead She pushed me down on a burning bed Thought I was in heaven, but instead She turned her head and she softly said I’ll bite your face off I’ll bite your face off I’ll bite your face off – little man I’ll bite your face off – you know that I can She put the whip in the cream She was the sinner’s queen, with a delicious angel face Then she’d invite you in, c’mon and lick my skins You trade your soul for another taste She took my heart, my resistance fled I loved each lie that I was fed She pushed me down on a burning bed This was in heaven, but instead She turned her head and she softly said I’ll bite your face off I’ll bite your face off I’ll bite your face off – little man I’ll bite your face off – you know that I can She pushed me down on a burning bed Thought I was in heaven, but instead She turned her head and she softly said I’ll bite your face off I’ll bite your face off I’ll bite your face off – little man I’ll bite your face off – you know that I can" 'Disco Bloodbath Boogie Fever' is a strange song. No, make that a S-T-R-A-N-G-E song! It's another change of musical style, and although it's very amusing, I don't think it fits on the album. The rapping here works better than 'Stand' from the 'Dirty Diamonds' album, but I don't understand the pirate chants!!! Alice Cooper - Vocals John 5 - Guitar Tommy Henriksen - Guitar, Bass, Programming, Keyboards Scott Williamson - Drums 08/14 - Disco Bloodbath Boogie Fever (Cooper, Ezrin, Henriksen) "Yo Yo Yo, Yooooo Yo Yo Yo, Yooooo Here you are in the club, with your bottle full of bub You've got grill, you got bling but player you don't know a thing Put your hands in the air, stick 'em up like you don't care Face the wall, count to ten, we mow you down, reload again Oh no , here we go Disco who, disco what Get down on your knees, and keep your trap shut Disco this, disco that When disc-gos to hell, that's where we're at, where we're at Yo Yo Yo, Yooooo Yo Yo Yo, Yooooo DIsco Bloodbath (Disco Bloodbath Boogie Fever ) Boogie Fever (Disco Bloodbath Boogie Fever) DIsco Bloodbath (Disco Bloodbath Boogie Fever) Boogie Fever (Disco Bloodbath Boogie Fever) Bodies here, bodies there, piles of bodies everywhere On the chairs, on the door, disco bloodbath on the floor Hear them yell, hear them scream, just like someones scary dream Dig a hole, push 'em in, tomorrow they'll be back again Oh no, here we go Disco who, disco what Get down on your knees, and keep your trap shut Disco this, disco that When disc-gos to hell, that's where we're at, where we're at Yo Yo Yo, Yooooo Yo Yo Yo, Yooooo DIsco Bloodbath (Disco Bloodbath Boogie Fever ) Boogie Fever (Disco Bloodbath Boogie Fever) DIsco Bloodbath (Disco Bloodbath Boogie Fever) Boogie Fever (Disco Bloodbath Boogie Fever) We cleaned the house tonight (We cleaned the house tonight) We did our job (We did our job it's alright) We turned out all the lights okay We were sent to let them know (I think you really let 'em know) It was time to let them go (you know they really had to go) Coz we're the ones who close the show okay"

Another song and another musical style! 'Ghouls Gone Wild' is a good, catchy piece of '60's surf rock. It's a fun song Special guests on this one are Kip Winger and also Mark Volman, from the band The Turtles, who provide backing vocals Alice Cooper - Vocals Tommy Henriksen - Guitar, Programming Steve Hunter - Guitar Bob Ezrin - Farfisa Organ Jimmie Lee Sloas - Bass Scott Williamson - Drums Bob Ezrin, Kip Winger, Mark Volman - Backing Vocals 0/14 - Ghouls Gone Wild (Cooper, Ezrin, Hendriksen) This is another song where 'copyright infringement' means it is not available on YouTube. However, it can be found here "We're gonna have a bash and we're glad you finally got here Coz we're already trashed and the band is really hot here We're gonna dance our heads off and we're gonna keep it tight If we keep ourselves together we might make it through the night Ghouls gone wild, wilder than before We had a little taste and now we need a little more Ghouls gone wild, screaming in the night We're feeling kinda hungry and we came in for a bite Ghouls... Ghouls.... We're gonna raise some hell yeah, we're gonna rock and roll here And my sulphur that you smell well it adds a little soul here We're dancing on your grave and we're dancing in the street We're dancing through the fire and it's burning up our feet (burning up our feet) Ghouls gone wild, wilder than before We had a little taste and now we need a little more Ghouls gone wild, screaming in the night We're feeling kinda hungry and we came in for a bite Ghouls... Ghouls.... So exciting when we're biting Come on and play, whatdaya say Ghouls gone wild, wilder than before We had a little taste and now we need a little more Ghouls gone wild, screaming in the night We're feeling kinda hungry and we came in for a bite Ghouls... Ghouls.... Ghouls... Ghouls.... Ghouls.... Ghouls...." 'Something To Remember Me By' is a the token ballad on the album. It's an Alice Cooper ballad. It sounds like an Alice Cooper ballad. What more can I say? Alice Cooper - Vocals Jeremy Rubolino - Orchestration Steve Hunter - Guitar Tommy Henriksen - Guitar Jimmie Lee Sloas - Bass Scott Williamson - Drums Bob Ezrin - Keyboards, Orchestration Actually, you have to take my word on the band line-up because I have finally been thwarted! Despite hunting high and low, I have not been able to find the Alice version that is playable in the UK (copyright issues again), so all I can do is post a cover version of the song by a band called Nightcore 10/14 - Something To Remember Me By (Cooper, Wagner) "Baby, I wanna tell you something Just a word and it's no lie I got so much feeling in side of me Baby, our love will last forever Through the changes of the heart Through the lonely nights whenever we're far apart Before we say goodbye All I wanna say is I...... I just wanna give you something to remember me by Something that lasts forever Coz our love is for all time Baby, I may be gone tomorrow But I'm here with you tonight I'll be holding you 'till morning light And baby I'm gonna watch you wake up Scattered clothes across the floor And hear you whisper to me "love me again once more" Before we say goodbye All I wanna say is I.... I just wanna give you something to remember me by I won`t be gone forever And our love is for all time I wanna give you something to remember me by Something to remember further on down the line Something to remember me by Bye bye "

![]() 'When Hell Comes Home' is a return to the riff heavy music and the snarling Alice of the '70's. This is probably not surprising when you consider that it is the third and final song on the album to feature the original ACG. It's a very dark song about an abusive husband and father, and as such, I'm not sure that it fits in with the rest of the album, which is fun and light Alice Cooper - Vocals Dennis Dunaway - Bass Neal Smith - Drums Michael Bruce - Guitar, keyboards Steve Hunter - Guitar Pat Buchanan - Guitar Tommy Henriksen - Guitar Bob Ezrin - Keyboards 11/14 - When Hell Comes Home (Cooper, Ezrin, Bruce) "Daddy wants to take me for a ride Daddy likes to drink when daddy drives He's pounding on my door He wants to come inside Yeah daddy wants to take me for a ride That's just the way it is, when I'm left alone Yeah that's when hell comes home Mommy says that everything is fine Mommy hides her bruises all the time She always makes excuses but I know that she is lyin' Mommy says that everything is fine That's just the way it is, he's evil to the bone Mommy says that everything is fine That's just the way it is, when we're left alone Coz that's when hell comes home I hear those footsteps on the stairs Mom's bleeding out or maybe she don't care We live in darkness and despair I'm just so tired of being scared (Daddy's home.. Get out my way... Gimme the bottle.. Steven... Steven... STEVEN... ) (no... no... no....) Daddy's gonna get a big surprise I'll put one right between his eyes And in his blood I'll write his last goodbyes Yeah daddy's gonna get a big surprise That just the way it is, he'll be deader then a stone That's just the way it is, he'll leave us both alone That's just the way it is when hell comes home Home...." 'What Baby Wants' is really a gimmick song. When Alice was looking for someone to play the Devil, he met Ke$ha at the Grammys. He says: "She never looked to me like a Diva. She's a rock singer. She would much rather be the female Robert Plant than the next Britney Spears. Bob Ezrin said, 'Nobody's gonna expect Kesha on your album.' 'Great! Let's do it!'" Sadly, the gimmick outweighs the song. The melody is boring, and the vocal performances are even more boring. Alice Cooper - Vocals Ke$ha - The Lady In Red Tommy Henricksen - Guitar, Bass, Programming, Keyboards Steve Hunter - Guitar Bob Ezrin - Keyboards 12/14 - What Baby Wants (Cooper, Ezrin, Henriksen, Ke$ha) Like some of the previous songs on this album, this one has also been removed from YouTube due to copyright. However, it can be found here "She gonna come for you And you can try to run and hide No matter what you do She gonna take it deep inside You're thinking this could be a dream come true But you don't really understand She feeds on flesh and blood and boys like you She gonna make you be a man She'll take your bleeding heart and your soul, no regrets Coz what baby wants (What baby wants wants wants) Baby gets (She's gonna gonna gonna get) What baby wants (What baby wants wants wants) Baby gets (She's gonna gonna gonna get) The Devil: I gotta pretty face Steven: Yeah but I've seen what's hiding underneath The Devil: You like my pretty mouth Steven: But you got razor blades instead of teeth The Devil: And now its too too late for you Steven: Oh yeah tell me what you gonna do The Devil: I'm gonna drain your veins and bathe in your blood Steven: Honey I seen worse then you The Devil: I'll make you sit, beg, roll over, play dead Steven: Ain't gonna be your little pet The Devil: Oh really... What baby wants (What baby wants wants wants) Baby gets (She's gonna gonna gonna get) Yeah what baby wants (What baby wants wants wants) Baby gets (She's gonna gonna gonna get) Bay tells lies, Baby looks you in the eyes It's her aphrodisiac, when she stabs you in the back She comes on like a saint but that's exactly what she ain't Not a damsel in distress, she's the devil in a dress She's gonna stay with you She's gonna play with you It's one thing you can bet Coz what baby wants (What baby wants wants wants) Baby gets (She's gonna gonna gonna get) Yeah what baby wants (What baby wants wants wants) Baby gets (She's gonna gonna gonna get) The Devil/Steven: I'll make you sit, beg, roll over, play dead. I'm gonna be your little pet Coz what baby wants (What baby wants wants wants) Baby gets (She's gonna gonna gonna get) Yeah what baby wants (What baby wants wants wants) Baby gets (She's gonna gonna gonna get) Coz what baby wants (What baby wants wants wants) Baby gets (She's gonna gonna gonna get) Yeah what baby wants (What baby wants wants wants) Baby gets (She's gonna gonna gonna get) What baby wants, baby gets"

Although there is one more thing on the original standard release of the album, 'I Gotta Get Outta Here' is the last proper song, and it is a good, fun one which features some play-acting from Alice as his fate is explained to him...or is it? The ending of the album is ambiguous - is Steven dead or not?? Special guests on the song are Vince Gill on guitar; Jimmy DeGrasso, who has played with David Lee Roth, Lita Ford, Ozzy and Black Star Riders on drums; provides the guitar again Alice Cooper - Vocals Jimmy DeGrasso - Drums Chuck Garric - Bass Tommy Henriksen - Guitar, Programming, Synths Steve Hunter - Guitar Brad Sample - Guitar Bob Ezrin - Keyboards, Backing Vocals Kip Winger, Vicki Hampton, Wendy Moten - Backing Vocals The credited writer is Patterson Hood, who is vocalist with the Drive By Truckers 13/14 - I Gotta Get Outta Here (Cooper, Hood, Ezrin) "I can`t wait to wake up in my very own bed Far away from the madness and my pounding head The shiver up my spine and this feeling of dread Well first I finally passed out, then I woke up in pain Tangled in the wreckage of a runaway train Was I the last man on earth or was I just insane I gotta, gotta, gotta, gotta get outta here I gotta, gotta get outta here I'm getting the message, it's totally clear Yeah I really gotta get out of here I danced at a disco where the bodies all fell Piled up to the sky, what a sulphurous smell Man, the ghouls on the beach they were hotter than hell (Yeah yeah yeah) I popped the old man, put a hole in his eye Spent the night with the devil, she was such a bad guy And if he has her way I will eternally fry I gotta, gotta, gotta, gotta get outta here I gotta, gotta get outta here It's not complicated, yeah it's pretty damn clear I really gotta get outta here Just wanna be myself again and find my way out of this iniquitous den I ain't having fun and I ain't making friends I don't wanna know how this nightmare ends I don`t know why I'm here, why I've fallen from grace I can't explain the burns, or the scars on my face Somebody please wake me up and get me outta this place (Yeah yeah yeah) I said I gotta, gotta, gotta, gotta get outta here I gotta, gotta get outta here They say isn't the message clear to you yet, sonny Choir: "What part of dead don`t you get?" Alice: "Nah.. excuse me?!?" Choir: "What part of dead don`t you get?" Alice: "whoa whoa whoa w-wait a minute" Choir: "What part of dead don`t you get?" Alice: "I'm sorry, are you talking to me?" Choir: "What part of dead don`t you get?" Alice: "Hey I signed on for a nightmare.." Choir: "What part of dead don`t you get?" Alice: "Really. I mean that's a little drastic don`t you think?" Choir: "What part of dead don`t you get?" Alice: "I don't.. I.. I.. hey.. whoa..." Choir: "What part of dead don`t you get?" Alice: "I get it.. but, but I don`t get it.." Choir: "What part of dead don`t you get?" Alice: "I'm sinking here.. Hello?" Choir: "Yeah yeah yeah"" The album finishes with 'The Underture', an instrumental medley of songs from both Nightmares. Strangely, it's probably my favourite piece on the album, but I think it would have worked better if it was The Overture and used at the start of the album The songs featured are:
Jeremy Rubolino - Arrangement and Orchestration Steve Hunter - Guitar Dick Wagner - Special Guest Guitar Tommy Henriksen - Guitar Bob Ezrin - Keyboards Jimmie Lee Sloas - Bass Scott Williamson - Drums 14/14 - The Underture (Cooper, Ezrin, Henriksen, Child, Kelly, Seth, Wagner) When it was released, the album came in a number of different editions, each containing additional songs: The standard UK and US release featured a cover of The Animals' song 'We Gotta Get Out Of This Place' The UK release also came as a 'Classic Rock Magazine Fan Pack' which featured two bonus tracks: Poison (live at Download, 2011) and a new song called 'Under The Bed' which should have been the ending to the proper album. The fan pack also included an Alice poster, official metal pin badge, Alice Cooper mask, plus a 132 page magazine. Although it (probably) goes for silly money now, it's well worth trying to track down There was a limited edition UK and US digipack which contained the cover of 'We Gotta Get Out Of This Place' and also two other songs recorded live at Download - 'No More Mr. Nice Guy' and 'The Black Widow' The double vinyl version, which was blood red in the UK, contained an oddity entitled 'Flatline' Finally an iTunes version of the album featured yet another exclusive track entitled 'A Bad Situation', the cover of 'We Gotta Get Out Of This Place' plus a 25 minute interview, with Alice talking about the songs

With regards to touring, when the 'Theatre Of Death' shows ended in November 2010, Alice took a break and the rumours that he was retiring started! To allay these fears, the announcement that rehearsals for a new tour, entitled the 'No More Mr. Nice Guy Tour', was made in March 2011 The band for the first part of this tour consisted of: Alice Cooper - Vocals Damon Johnson - Guitar Tommy Henriksen - Guitar Steve Hunter - Guitar Chuck Garric - Bass Glen Sobel - Drums The basic setlist for the start of the tour was:
Once again, the tour was split into different legs, with changes being made to the show. After a few shows not connected to the tour, including playing a benefit concert for the victims of the Tucson shootings, the induction into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame, the 'Revolver Golden God Awards' and the 4D performance from the Battersea Power Station (the last three with the original ACG), the tour started proper on May 12, 2011 in Indiana. The band then moved to Canada between May 14 - May 20th before a single show in Ohio on the 21st. A handful of shows in South America were held between May 28 - June 3rd before they moved to Europe. Dates in Belfast and Dublin were held on June 7th & 8th with Def Leppard and Thin Lizzy supporting. France followed on June 10 and then on June 11th they headlined the second stage at the UK Download festival, with support from Twisted Sister, Cheap Trick and Mr. Big. More dates followed in Europe between June 11 - June 24th before returning to England for a special show at the 100 Club in London on June 26th This was Alice stripped bare! There was no make-up and no theatrics. Just a 75 minute set of "Cooper Classics and covers". Alice broke character by actually talking to the audience and having fun! Johnny Depp guested on guitar on two songs - 'School's Out' and 'I'm Eighteen'. This show could be seen as being the genesis of the Hollywood Vampires project. Allegedly it was professionally recorded, but I have never found any evidence of this The setlist for this show was:
The 'No More Mr. Nice Guy' tour resumed in Europe between July 4th - July 9th, where the band opened up for Iron Maiden at various festivals before moving back to America between August 5th - August 27th. After these shows, guitarist Damon Johnson left the band to be replaced by Orianthi, was was to have been Michael Jackson's guitarist on his dates at the London 02 shows before his untimely death. Footage of her in rehearsal can be found on the 'This Is It' DVD The tour resumed in New Zealand and Australia between September 22nd - October 2nd, before two dates in Asia on October 5th & 7th, then it was back to Europe between October 12th - November 14th. UK shows were between October 25th - 31st, and the band visited Sheffield, Bristol, Birmingham, London (Alexander Palace), Manchester and Glasgow. Support for these dates came from a reformed New York Dolls. The London show, which also featured Arthur Brown on the bill, was broadcast live on the Sky 3D channel but, although a 2D version also exists, it has never been officially released After Europe, two dates in Russia were played before ending the year in America and Canada between November 26th - December 14th 2012 began with Alice talking about plans for a full blown tour to support the new 'Welcome 2 My Nightmare' album consisting of the original album being played in its entirety, followed by the sequel in its entirety but ultimately this didn't happen. Instead, the 'No More Mr Nice Guy Tour' was revived for another year! The band for the 2012 leg of the tour remained the same: Alice Cooper - Vocals Steve Hunter -Guitar Tommy Henriksen - Guitar Orianthi - Guitar Chuck Garric - Bass Glen Sobel - Drums A few changes had been made to the setlist as well:
The tour resumed in America and Canada between June 8th 2012 - July 21st, again supporting Iron Maiden on many dates. The tour ended in Europe, with dates between July 27th - August 12th, with the final date being a headline appearance at the Bloodstock Festival in Derbyshire, with support from Paradise Lost, Anvil, Decide, The Black Dahlia Murder, Nile, and Corrosion of Conformity As noted, the 100 club show was apparently recorded, and the Alexander Palace show was broadcast on Sky television, but neither has been officially released. However, there was a CD release of the Alexander Palace show. This was originally released as an 'instant Live' album, available at the end of the, with a blank disc for the owner to download the encores at a later date. However, it was also remixed and reissued as a proper release.

In October 2012, Alice embarked on his most extensive tour to date. The 'Raise The Dead Tour'' ran until December 2015! The band for the first part of this tour consisted of: Alice Cooper - Vocals Ryan Roxie - Guitars Tommy Henriksen - Guitars Orianthi - Guitars Chuck Garric - Bass Glen Sobel - Drums The basic setlist for the start of the tour was:
Once again, the tour was split into different legs, but very few changes were made to the show. The tour began in the UK, between October 24th - November 1st, with dates being played at Cardiff, Wolverhampton, Bournemouth, London (Wembley), Nottingham, Edinburgh (on Halloween) and Sheffield. Support for these shows came from Ugly Kid Joe and Loaded. Fans were not happy with the 'Raise The Dead' segment, and questions were asked about it. Alice's manager, Shep Gordon, personally responded to the criticism: "HELLO SICK THINGS!!!!!...HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!..... Shep here... I had a chance this tour to get some quality time with many of the Sick Things. Really great to get to do more than wave while leaving the building........ Thank you all for your loyalty, honesty and concern... I know many of you are confused by the new show.. I read the postings and appreciated the comments, recommendations and concern... Glad to see most are feeling better.. A few more changes to come..... I thought I would try and explain what our thoughts were in writing the new show which may help clear some things up for you, and for Alice and I... Your comments that Alice breaks character at the tribute section was heard loudly by us. We realize we didn't explain what happens clearly enough. For over 40 years Alice on stage has done dispicable acts to society, has been killed for this and has immediiately returned reborn in white. This year Alice deals with the question of "what happens when Alice Cooper dies?" Is he burned in hell? No... he goes to join his friends who have also died... his friends from his drinking club THE HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES. He goes to the rockstar graveyard, as well he should, but nothing can keep Alice down.. it's not his time yet... so he raises the dead so he can come back! Also please remember there are very special reasons for each artist as I'm sure as Sick Things you should know. Jimi Hendrix introduced Alice and I!!!!!! John Lennon gave Alice his first big show.. the show where the chicken was unleashed!!!!!!! Jim Morrison taught Alice how to REALLY drink!!!!!! And what needs to be said about Keith Moon.. He's Keith Moon and was Alices outrage buddy!!!!!! Who more fitting than Alice to raise these dead. We are in the process of adding a few simple things to make this clearer to the audience thanks to all of your comments.. THANK YOU SICK THINGS FOR CARING!!!!!!!! Shep Gordon." After the UK dates, the tour moved to Europe for two shows in Germany and Switzerland before crossing the water for shows in Canada and North America between November 7th - December 1st In June 2013, Alice embarked on the 'Masters Of Madness Tour' which covered North America between 1st June - 29th June. This was a co-headline tour with Marilyn Manson. Also appearing were Picture Me Broken. For this tour, the 'Raise The Dead' covers were dropped, resulting in the shows being slightly truncated Marilyn Manson guested on 'I'm Eighteen' on all dates A basic setlist for this tour was:
After the 'Masters Of Madness Tour', it was straight back into 'Raise The Dead' for more shows in Canada and the US between July 2nd - July 20th before returning to Europe for shows between July 26th - August 8th. These shows included a headline slot at The Wacken Festival in Germany on 3rd August (which was subsequently released on DVD and CD) and a headline show at The Cropredy Festival in Banbury, Oxfordshire on August 8th The rest of August was taken off, but the tour resumed on October 5th for three shows in Russia, before returning to the US and Canada for shows between October 13th - November 27th. There were no real changes in the setlist for these dates:
There was then a break in the tour, and in March 2014, Alice did a sidestep and appeared on the bill for the 'Original Rock Meets Classics Tour', which was held in Germany, France, Switzerland and Austria between March 9th - April 5th. Alice, accompanied by Mat Sinner and the Bohemian Prague Symphony Orchestra, headlined these shows, which also included Joe Lynn Turner, Midge Ure and Kim Wilde. The set consisted of:
Then, between May 30th 2014 and June 8th, the 'Raise The Dead Tour' continued, with dates in the Czech Republic, Germany, Norway, Sweden and France. Orianthi left the band at the end of these shows. Her replacement was announced as being Nita Strauss, who was previously a guitarist in an all female Iron Maiden tribute band called The Iron Maidens! (She 'played' Dave Murray) With 'Raise The Dead' running since October 2012, fans were angry and disappointed when it was announced that Alice was going to be the support act for the entire Motley Crue 'farewell' tour. Not only was it to be effectively the same show, it was also going to be cut short. Even worse for UK fans, the announced dates between July 2nd - November 28th were all in the US and Canada. The band for these dates was: Alice Cooper - Vocals Nita Strauss - Guitar Tommy Henriksen - Guitar Ryan Roxie - Guitar Chuck Garric - Bass Glen Sobel - Drums The setlist for the support slot was:
When these dates had finished, there was more anger and disappointment when it was announced that for 2015, a) the 'Raise The Dead Tour' was going to continue and b) headline dates were only to be played in the US! These dates were between February 7th - 23rd. The full setlist remained:
Alice resumed support dates on the The Motley Crue tour, with dates in Australasia between 9th May - 23rd May
before a handful of festival headline dates between 19th June - 4th July in France, Belgium, Switzerland and Sweden
then back to the US and Canada for MORE Crue dates between 22nd July 6th September Then there was something new! The fledgling 'Hollywood Vampires', featuring Alice, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry, played two shows in the US and one in Brazil between 16th September - 24th September to support their still-to-be-released covers album
then MORE US dates with The Crue between 5th October - 22nd October. Finally, Alice returned to the UK with two headline dates on 29th October and 30th October 2015 in Plymouth and Swindon. Support on these dates came from Michael Munroe
UK support dates with The Crue followed between 2nd November - 6th November at Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham and London (SSE Arena) before European dates between 8th November - 28th November. Then the whole package moved back to the US, with the 'Raise The Dead' tour finally being laid to rest on 22nd December!

According to reviews, Nita Strauss is supposed to be a bit of a 'wow' when it comes to performing live. Let's hope she stays to actually record something with Alice.
