A spot-on examination into the weird covers of three of Alice's albums

Interesting quote about the new album:

"“When my vacation is over I go back to L.A. to Johnny Depp’s house,” he says. “We’re working at Johnny’s house and we’ve written 30 songs already for this album. Now we’ll weed out the best 10 or 12 songs.”"

But it doesn't say whether this is an Alice Cooper album or a Hollywood Vampires album

Top ten Alice Cooper albums (this was a tough one):

10 - The Eyes of Alice Cooper (2003)
9 - Raise Your Fist & Yell (1987)
8 - Lace & Whiskey (sorry, I like it) (1977)
7 - Alice Cooper Goes To Hell (1976)
6 - Dada (1983)
5 - School's Out (1972)
4 - Billion Dollar Babies (1973)
3 - From The Inside (1978)
2 - Killer (1971)
1 - Welcome To My Nightmare (1975)

This sucks it really does.

Yes it's wonderful for all those stuck in 1974 but Alice has a cracking modern band that he should be working and writing songs with, what are they all going to do? Sit there twiddling their thumbs?

I wouldn't be too concerned about it. I reckon that only 2 or 3 tracks with the original Alice Cooper group will make it onto the end product. I'd expect the rest of the album to be with the modern band. About time a new album came out, Welcome 2 My Nightmare was way back in 2011 (by the way, Under The Bed really should have made it onto the album and not been a mere bonus track). Whilst I thought that the Hollywood Vampires album was a fun distraction, I didn't enjoy it as much as checking out actual new material.

Although i do like Welcome 2 My Nightmare i do find it a disjointed listening experience. The musical styles are all over the place.

It was pretty disjointed. Also, it never quite lived up to the amazing I Am Made of You opening track. When the album started, I was expecting the most epic album of AC's career. lol
