Thanks. Not a lot of point wasting $2.48 on it really. 55 minutes is barely worth putting the disc in.

The concert is on YouTube if you want to watch it. I considered buying it last night, based entirely on the price, but I actually don't want it

January 11, 1975 - 50 years ago today, the Cumberland Evening Times from Maryland is the first place to break the news that the Alice Cooper Band has split up

This, of course, was the result of Alice deciding to go solo

More info when I get it

Two new solo UK shows have been announced for July in addition to the Judas Priest support slot in London on July 25

Cardiff Utilita Arena - July 22
Edinburgh Playhouse - July 23

It's interesting to note that the tour posters state that these are "...His only show in Wales / Scotland in 2025". There is nothing on the London concert stating "...His only shows in England in 2025" ...

Edinburgh Playhouse is a strange choice (rather than Usher Hall for example), but I'm going to get myself a ticket. As long as the prices are reasonable that is.

Pre-sale tickets for Edinburgh are UK$97.80 / UK$86.80 / UK$75.70 / UK$64.40

That is more than what we paid for 'Ammersmith last year - cheapest tickets there were UK$50 !

I decided not to go, which is a shame. 100 quid plus, once you factor in fees is too much money really. Yes there are tiers of pricing but honestly once you get out of the 100 zones the viewing is a bit rubbish.

Thankfully I have had the chance to see Alice quite a few times and I have enjoyed the show so I will just keep the memories lol.

Alice has just started the 2025 American leg of the 'Too Close For Comfort' tour with a concert at the Bell Auditorium in Augusta, Georgia on January 31

The setlist seems to be exactly the same as the UK leg from last year, with a few minor changes
  • Lock Me Up
  • Welcome to the Show
  • No More Mr. Nice Guy
  • I'm Eighteen
  • Under My Wheels
  • Bed of Nails
  • Billion Dollar Babies
  • Snakebite
  • Be My Lover
  • Lost in America
  • He's Back (The Man Behind the Mask)
  • Hey Stoopid
  • Drum Solo
  • Welcome to My Nightmare
  • Cold Ethyl
  • Go to Hell
  • Poison
  • "The Black Widow" segment from Alice Cooper: The Nightmare
  • Guitar Solo
  • Black Widow Jam
  • Ballad of Dwight Fry
  • I Love the Dead (Partial)
  • School's Out (with 'Another Brick in the Wall Part 2' teases)
  • Feed My Frankenstein

Because Nita has temporary left the band, and her replacement - a returning Orianthi - has been sidelined with a hamstring injury, ex-GnR member Gilby Clarke has been enlisted as third guitarist. This means that the guitar solo spot is now taken by Ryan Roxie and Tommy Henriksen

Songwise, both 'Killer' and 'Elected' have been dropped from the set, while 'Feed My Frankenstein' has been moved from mid-way through the show to the final encore

It doesn't look like any new songs have been added

I cannot comment on the stage show yet, other than the fact that the video screens are still there. However, I would imagine the theatrics haven't changed in any way

The problem with watching a concert through the viewfinder of your phone is that while you might get footage of a guitar solo ...

... you miss one of the big set pieces of the show !

Here's a rarity - 'Nobody Move', a song that was recorded for, and included on the test pressing of the 1986 LP 'Constrictor', but (for unknown reasons) was omitted from the actual released version

No idea how long this will stay on You Tube for. Apparently it has a habit of being posted and then removed !!
