Cradle of Filth's 2008 concept album Godspeed on the Devil's Thunder is based on the life and crimes of Gilles de Rais.

It was probably mentioned in the pages that I use for research, yes, but I am not familiar with Godspeed, whereas I do have a copy of the 'Morbid Tales' EP - on original black vinyl I'll have you know!
