Bit of old school Death Metal for September that'll do nicely.

I can't wait another band playing here for the first time.

I have had this album for years and can't remember ever listening to it until yesterday I threw it on in the car. Over the years I heard nothing but great things about this band but I just can't get into it I have listened to it for the last two days everytime im in the car and nothing. I can't get into the vocals at all and the bass sound is too rubber band sounding. It's just not for me.

I have that and a couple of others they released around that period.

There's no way i'd listen to it in the car. I always found it best to listen via headphones and try and immerse myself in the music. This way i really like them.

The vocals aren't much different to Lamb of God or other Metalcore stuff that originated in that era.

Actually i've put that very same album on now and quite enjoying it. The rhythms are unconventional in the way in which they cycle. I think they are called polyrhythms or something like that. I find it quite hypnotic.

I was thinking the vocals sounded familiar stylewise I don't like Lamb of God so that may explain that and it's mostly down to the vocals.
