Have a new Chromebook charging at home prepare to Embrace the metal videos once again.

Listening to Satyricon Now Diabolical in the car I know I mentioned this a while back but when I heard this first years ago I didn't really like it but now I adore the album the riffs and yes stating the obvious Frosts drumming sounds so good and satisfying.

It's a fair distance from their earlier sound admittedly. But how could you once not like stuff like To the Mountains?

The transition was probably easier for me as the first one of their's i got was Rebel Extravaganza and also Intermezzo II.

There's a new Satyricon album out this year and also a tour i believe. They were announced for Bloodstock just before Christmas.

Here are my top 5 albums of 2023.

Primordial
Dying Fetus
Marduk
Sanguisugabogg
Blut Aus Nord

Dying Fetus was a late addition and if it wasn't for a new Primordial album it would of been number 1 it's honestly one of the best death metal albums I have ever heard but it's Primordial and any year they release an album it's gonna be number 1.Primordial-HowItEnds.jpgDyingFetus-MakeThemBegForDeath01.jpgmarduk-memento-mori-2023.jpgSanguisugabogg-Homicidal.jpgnahab.jpg
