My own rule is one or two photos of each band on stage a minute or two video of a random song from each band and then that's enough.

I don't know much about Ghost honestly but I love that idea maybe I need to give them a proper listen I hear the first album is great.

Marillion just do a stage announcement saying you paid to see us play the songs and not the screen of a phone.

It seems like a problem at metal gigs but then you see footage from pop concerts and it is literally ever bugger with the phone out. So all of a sudden it doesn?t seem too bad seeing 10 people taking pics at a black metal show

Except if you are behind one of the ten and all you can see is a screen. I dunno, it annoyed me back then and it'll be more prevalent now.

Can't people get by without their phone clasped in their hand.

All their albums are great.

Although Justin doesn't rate their most recent one i think it's their best to date.

They need to stop this madness too many sub sub sub sub genres

Don't get me wrong I just heard Sea Witch i love it it's like a perfect blend for my it's dark is about the sea but so many sub genres

My Dying Bride have announced their first gig of 2025 but Aaron won't be joining them I hope this isn't the end of him in the band. I know they took a break but he has just releases an album with a new band High Parasite. I have never gotten the chance to see MDB live I really hope my first time is not without Aaron if they go on a proper tour.

Who's going to do the vocals for those dates, he has such a unique voice it seems impossible to replace him. As you say hopefully it's just a short term thing.

I have been lucky enough to see MDB multiple times between As The Flower Withers and Like Gods of the Sun, but not since, would be nice to catch them again, last few albums have been brilliant.

Mikko Kotam?ki from Swallow the Sun I haven't ever listened to them so I can't comment on his abilities I will have to give them a go.
