Does it utilize the location well? I've been to Pompeii and wondered if they lit it up well with their stage and light show.
These stills show the extent of the lighting but the music and the venue blend so beautifully they really do complement each other capturing the perfect haunting atmosphere.

I've got to be honest. It doesn't look much to me. I thought it was more recent than those images suggest.

It was 1972 when it was filmed.

Anyone who likes a little Judas Priest could do a lot worse than buying this dvd.

For the measly price of just £3.99 you get -

13 promo videos (Up to and including the Painkiller album)

6 BBC performances (Two from OGWT and four from TOTP)

Priest Live! (The full show from 1986 as documented on the live album Priest Live!)

Discography (Which plays in full one track from every album)

The audio and visual quality is great. All in all an excellent package.

Love that DVD! Great pick-up, Dem

There's so much great Priest stuff crammed in that release, especially seeing them performing from the Rocka Rolla album looking their most hippiest!

Got a fave music video on there, Dem?

Johnny Be Goode. It's just a manic performance video which makes me want to get in the pit. Proper metal!!! Play it Loud!!!

Seeing Halford the hairy hippie was quite an experience. Oddly Rocka Rolla was the second Priest album i bought...after British Steel

Very interesting

I've been toying with getting the 30th anniversary edition of 'British Steel' on CD for the accompanying DVD, but I might have look at getting this one instead

An amazing performance enhanced by the haunting back drop of the ruins of Pompeii. Breathtaking
After 45 years, Dave Gilmour returned to Pompeii on his current tour

Looking at the amphitheater, it does give itself up for a rock concert like this
