I noticed yesterday that they'd gone but thought it was just me. It's probably has something to do with the update that Stefan did yesterday.

If you quote a post all the links appear when you scroll down the page but not in the posts! Very odd.

I think it is more likely Ron as Divine in video selfies that has made the forum cleanse itself.

I've PMd Stefan so hopefully he will be able to sort it.

If you notice in the top right of the window web address there's a small shield.

If you click it it tells you about the site being safe but some outside bollocks aren't - the videos. If you allow everything the site loses it's https status, but the video's all show up.

I've been listening to the Deftones most of the morning (as the post above indicates) and I can see the videos, so whatever Stefan did worked.

The videos never disappeared for me, think it may have been a browser issue :nod:

But, I have noticed that whenever I post a link to a video, it shows up with the address only and not a screenshot of the video like everybody elses, only started recently :confused:

It was something to do with some security updates I think and was a cross-browser problem. Anyway, all seems well in the land of videos now.... until Ron starts posting more Chas 'n' Dave and Russ Abbott that is. :fear:

You need to remove the 's' after the http for it to embed properly.

Strange, in the five years I've been here and the umpteen videos I've posted, I've never had to do that before

I use Internet Explorer as my primary browser but, because YouTube videos have secure prefixes, I use Chrome when looking at videos to post here. It's an oddity, but something which has been the case for a while.
