No, missed out on tickets despite knowing the owner of the venue and half the bloody band! :crying:

Blimey. When I think of all the tour t-shirts that I had and have now been lost to time or in storage somewhere. I'll have to dig out some more recent ones.

I'll see Leaves' Eyes in October with Cellar Darling and Kamelot.

They are a band i used to really like. Back then Liv Kristine was the singer and their sound was a bit Within Temptation like with Viking influences, but Alex Krul became far more influential, sacked Kristine (His wife) and have a much more generic singer now. They were supporting Paradise Lost when i saw them i met Liv after their and set she happily posed for pics and chatted.

Pity my fave pic of Liv had red eye. My camera was more primitive back in 05.

I loved the early albums, when they were a disposable, bubblegum band: 'Kiss' (1974), 'Hotter Than Hell' (1974), 'Dressed to Kill' (1975), 'Destroyer' (1976), 'Rock and Roll Over' (1976) and 'Love Gun' (1977) are all essential party rock albums with nary a duff track among them

Then they did the four solo albums, which were ego overload, and range from the enjoyable to the unlistenable! [I think that Paul's one is the best]

'Dynasty' has a great cover of the Stones' '2,000 Man', but it also had *that* disco song

'Unmasked' I remember nothing about

Controversial choice, but 'Music From The Elder' is my all time favourite KISS album

By the time they got to 'Creatures Of The Night', they had turned into a heavy metal band. It was a fun record, but the only thing that that made them stand out from all the other metal bands of the era was the make-up they wore

Then they took the make-up off, and I stopped listening to them!

One of the best symphonic metal songs and one of the most sublime (male) voices in rock ever.

I was going to post a bald Midge at the Rich Kids reunion in 2016 but the energy and fever has gone the way of his hair...so here is some Midge when he was a teen idol. From this to the Rich Kids...amazing.

Floor Jansen's new Hard Rock project, I like this first single, reminds me of early 90s rock music.
