I picked out the first Audioslave to listen to this morning, Nos, but went with The Rolling Stones Goat's Head Soup album instead.

I'm a fan of Audioslave too, listened to that first album a lot when it came out, think i'll listen to them later on this afternoon, after my trip to the shop!

It's a bit different to the two pop-punk albums which preceded it!

Chris Cornell is probably my most missed musician from recent times. He could put his voice to anything. A voice which is timeless. It could be on the latest metal release in 2021 or a classic rock record from 1970.

An altogether classier record.

Having said that i don't think i've listened to more than two songs by Good Charlotte.

I miss him loads every time I hear his voice, an absolute talent in every way.
He and Eddie Vedder on Temple of the Dog, awesome.

Every time I listen to Soundgarden, Audioslave, or his solo albums, I have mixed emotions: joy tinged with sadness, and a bit of disbelief that he is no longer alive and making music.

I think Myles Kennedy is a great vocalist and similar to Chris Cornell in his versatility and talent, but Cornell was a one-off and, like you, I still miss him.

That reminds me. I still haven't got the last TWO Pearl Jam albums...What the hell am i doing? :whip:
