I tend to assume people want Cds these days (hate the things myself) so I recommend Cd releases to people.

I wouldn't condone breaking the law but this sadly defunct Punk blog was the greatest:

http://detailedtwang.blogspot.com/

And this blog on Library records is delightfully all over the place (funk, electronics, prog, folk) and perfectly legal as the music is free to destribute as long as you don't use it in a film ect:

http://thelibraryhunt.blogspot.com/

And an article about the greatest Library Label (so you know what it's all about):

Listening to the latest release from Eleh - minimal electronics with very, very deep sounds. It's almost subsonic in places.

Haha yeah I watched this last night... oh dear Aren't we all privileged to have them three vying for power!?

Anyway, thats enough about THAT subject. I'm listening to Four Tet's 2010 album There is Love In You. Nice modern electronica, very catchy stuff.

Have you heard the Sunburned Hand Of The Man album Four Tet produced? It's called A and it's on Ecstatic Peace.

He uses the band like a sampler. A very clever collaboration indeed.

Today: Baby Dee 'A book Of Songs For Anne Marie.' Lovely, sad and uplifting.

My brother loves Fourtet, but I could never get into them really. I think I've still got Pause and Rounds kicking about somewhere.

I love all kinds of electronic music, but Fourtet just didn't gel with my musical tastes!

I havn't no, this is the first Four Tet album I've heard to be fair. I found it through trawling spotify for new electronica stuff. I'll see if Sunburned Hand of Man is on spotify though. I like a lot of electronica stuff too, Bizarre_eye. Has any1 got any other recommendations? (I'm into stuff like autechre, boards of canada, susumu yokota, ulrich scnauss, john hopkins, marsen jules, harold budd, brian eno, future sound of london, etc)

EDIT: sunburned hand of man's album FIRE ESCAPE is on there, I'll stick it on
