Love Faith No More, although only after Mike Patton joined. Their album 'The Real Thing' is a real classic. Fantastic album.

Just slightly mate

They're a great band. I'm not into some of Patton's more Avant-Garde stuff but you can't beat his FNM stuff. Their 'Angel Dust' album is another favourite of mine.

I'm a big fan of the Smiths Got a few of their albums/ greatest hits CD's. In all fairness they made some great songs (even if Morrissey is a twat )

I'm probably more a fan of Pattons non-FNM stuff, the first and third Mr. Bungle albums are incredible, and a fair proportion of his Fantomas/Tomahawk stuff is amazing as well. The Peeping Tom album is great, General Patton vs The X-ecutioners is a fantastic experimental hip-hop album. Has anyone heard any of his "Mondo Cane" stuff? Basically Pattons interpretation of old Italian standards, I've only heard a bit of it but it's nice enough.

"The Real Thing" is a good album, but not the best FNM by a shot. "Angel Dust" is probably my favourite Patton era FNM, but I really like the Chuck Mosley efforts.

As for what I've actually been listening to of late, can't get enough of the new Gutter Twins e.p "Adorata", Mark Lanegan has the most amazing vocals, love pretty much all of his work, whether it's with The Screaming Trees or his solo/collaborations, guy's a ****ing legend.

I've been listening to Old Dirty Bastard - Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version. Amazing stuff, up there with Tical and Liquid Swords - deserves more respect!

I do like some of his other stuff. I thought Fantomas' 'Directors Cut' album was brilliant, there's some amazing songs on that, 'The Godfather' being the highlight for me. I also kind of dug the 'Peeping Tom' album. Also, his stuff with 'Dillinger Escape Plan' on the 'Irony is a dead scene' EP was also great, it's like a bizarre cross between slow jazz/funk which suddenly bursts into brutal mathcore and then interchanges between the two with Patton's vocals changing from a soft croon to maniacal screams in a split second. Definatley an interesting listen.

I've been listening to a lot of Phil Anselmo's (now full time project) Down recently. Easily one of the best metal bands around today.
