A few years ago, I saw a splinter group from Gong support a reformed Electric Prunes. The Prunes were bloody crap and failed completely to compete with the sheer wonder of the Gong splinter group.

I'm more of a Crass, Flux of Pink Indians and Rudimentary Peni fan myself. I do listen to a lot of garage punk, some of the stuff from the 90s is very much in a 77 vein.

Nice to meet another Punk on here TheHamish, yeah, iagree, these Usa bands all copied The Clash and Stiff Little Fingers, and to me it isnt Punk, I still play in a few Punk Bands, but taking our Influences from New York Dolls, Pistols etc...all the way through to The Lurkers and 999 and currently work with an original member of The Sweet and his long forgotten punk band Horrorcomic who were formerly called Crackers (yep, them who did Judy Judy Judy)
