Yeah, when i first started high school i was kind of into green day, bought their 'Dookie' and 'Insomniac' albums, I've still got them somewhere but I cant say ive listened to them in nigh on 10 years. They were pretty good at the time though.

Absolutely. I have loads of stuff I've accumulated over the years and will never part with them because I'd rather have my bedroom stacked with memories than have money in my bank account.

Yeah, likewise ive collected loads of stuff from gigs and festivals and stuff that i'd never part with.

This morning been listening to -

Darkest Hour - Hidden Hands of A Sadist Nation - absolutely and relentlessly brutal
AndWhiteStars - Uncertainty - Great debut EP from up and coming Hardcore band, Heartstrings is amazing
Shai Hulud - A Profound Hatred Of Man - Classic, they inspired and influenced so many hardcore/ metalcore bands, check out 'Set Your Body Ablaze', one of the greatest hardcore songs of all time IMO
E-Town Concrete - The Renaissance - Great fusion of hardcore and hip hop which oozes with attitude and aggression

I was thinking about going to Download this year but the lineup would have to be something really special! I've heard Heaven and Hell have self confirmed, as have Lamb of God so it's looking good so far!

Been watching the Strapping Young Lad set from Download 2006. It was included with the "1994-2006 Chaos Years" album and is just as amazing to watch as it was being there!

I don't have any plans to. Who's gonna be there?

Hal, have you had chance to listen to Chinese Democracy yet?

And has anyone heard Mudvayne's new album? It's jolly good I think. There are some songs on their MySpace page for anyone interested.
