I saw Meat Puppets support Soul Asylum way back at Manchester Academy.

I'd never heard of them before and they were terrific. Never bought an album of theirs though.

Meat Puppets II is the one to get, it was a game changer at the time.

I saw Soul Asylum, mid week somewhere in London before they started getting big, there were about 50 of us there in a large room.
