I'm one of those who heard the Metallica version first, but I prefer the original. Same goes for Die, Die My Darling.

You know you're going through a bad patch when this album is on repeat.

Have you heard Killing Joke's (original) version of The Wait? Well worth seeking out if you haven't.

Killing Joke are sorely underrated. Check out 'Eighties' while you are at it, it was one of their few singles to chart and is a quality tune to boot. I'm sure there's still a live version of it on YT in which Gaz Coleman (singer) is wearing what looks like a scary, f@&ked-up version of Gene Simmon's Kiss make-up.

Oh, and five points if you can guess what band stole the riff, slowed it down and broke the top-ten with it?
