I've only heard that song today which, like you, I enjoyed. I'll listen to more from the album on Spotify later on and then may buy the CD.

I enjoy the album but whether or not you take my word for it I've listened to it a few times. I like his voice.

It reminded me of Everlast. That same style guitar and rhythm.
