I've been listening to this all weekend, how did I not know that this was finally released? Cradle of Filth's near legendary 'lost album' when they fell out with their record label and half the band left to form another band they abandoned this version of Dusk and her Embrace and put out VEmpire (which I love but gets a bit of flack) instead to fulfill their contract obligations.

Decided to dip into one of my fave SMG albums this afternoon whilst I was sorting some paperwork:

I'd never heard of Sister Machine Gun before, but quite liked those tracks and will try and listen to more of them tomorrow.

They're one of my favourite bands, and growing up no-one I knew had heard of them - and these were people who lived for music and went to a shit load of gigs, festivals and concerts. Perhaps bias on my part, but I've always considered them a band who should have been a lot bigger than they were as I feel they are very talented. They released a fair few albums too.

Fortunately those albums are available on Spotify, so I'll have plenty of opportunity to listen to them at home or on the road tomorrow or next week.

I always forget about Opeth's Still Life album but it is a classic - The Moor being one of the highlights.
