I didn't need to ask. You and Rik discussed the Mastodon on it's day of release.

Nos is a non-metal fan in comparison and i wondered what he thought.

You have to ask the likes of Nos and B_e what they think of things because they never say what they've enjoyed or disliked anymore aside from the odd cinema release by Nosferatu.

It's like pulling teeth sometimes.

I know what you mean but we all have our own different ways about these things.
Mastodon is a weird one, because I know quite a few people who are really into it but the press are giving it quite a hard time saying it's derivative and not Mastodon at their prime. I think you should take a chance with it.
Goldfrapp I'm almost certain that you'll enjoy it, it's not a full on stomper like Supernature but it does have it's moments, it's probably more similar to Felt Mountain or Seventh Tree.

That's fair enough. However last time i checked this was a forum for discussing our movie and music likes and dislikes...

Basically i just like reading about things i haven't seen. When people watch all sorts of things then never mention them even just scoring them then... oh i don't know... maybe we should all stop saying our likes and dislikes and never bothering to write a few lines on what we watch.

I'll pick them both up in time. I still haven't unwrapped the last Mastodon cd. Had it for a good year or so.

I streamed them on Spotify over the weekend. I really can't comment on Mastodon because it is the first album of theirs I've heard, but really liked the new Goldfrapp one – it's on my current play queue again. Regarding the former, it is not the last time I will listen to them – I hope that's some indication of the album's quality!

Note to readers.

The above isn't aimed at Nos and / or B_e, it's just a grumble in general. Apologies if it came across that way.

I knew what you meant, since my PC broke meaning I mainly post on my phone via Tapatalk, I haven't posted all that much about what I've seen or bought. But, I'm starting to change that by writing lengthier "reviews" of films

And very good they are too. Even if some clown did ruin your fave film for you.

Gotta' admit i'm verging on buying 1408 again based on what you said.

I've been listening to Black Cherry since this whole conversation started and it's bringing back lots of memories. Strict Machine has always been one of my favourite Goldfrapp songs
