Arnold Layne is my all time favourite Floyd track. Never seems to date. Apples And Oranges should have been a hit too but there was a lot of competition back in 67.

The fist two Pink Floyd albums are still my favourites and I prefer Wish You Were Here to Dark Side Of The Moon which never really blew me away at all. I still have them on vinyl along with the Relics album that I must confess that I haven't played for maybe 10 years.

That's a quality EP though You Made Me Realise is my EP of theirs. Was lucky enough to catch them live a couple of summers ago, don't think my ears have been quite the same ever since.

Today I've given these a spin

Billy Childish with the Singing Loins - At the bridge
Sonic Youth - Dirty
Fela Kuti - Zombie
& Krafwerk's - The Mix

I haven't been the same since I caught them in 92 or 93(cant remember) thought I was going to die! People vomiting everywhere, running out screaming..I ended up a quivering wreck in a corner trying to stop my ears bleeding!

right now, im listening to James Horner's Krull score, A lot of his early 80s scores sound very similar, This score sound like the Wrath Of Khan Score.

His Battle Beyond The Stars score is hugely underrated.

he is a very good composer, maybe better that John Williams but not as good as Morricone. Morricone's Mission To Mars score is brilliant.
