This is Grey's bands' version, taken from the LP 'London Daze' (2000)

Lizzy Grey - a name i haven't heard in a long time. I used to have a London album on vinyl called Don't Cry Wolf.

Can't even remember what it sounded like all these years later.

Have you got her last one - Be Myself. Some great songs on that.

I really like this one with the ultra cool Gary Clark Jr. He just sits there on a street corner dishing out some gorgeous blues licks - he's almost Rik-like.

Haven't played the Threads album i bought yesterday yet.

Pretty Maids - Serpentine

Pretty Maids are one of those bands i never bought any records of. Going since the 80's, they always made consistently good music (i had a mate who bought all their albums) but, i don't know, i just never bought any myself. Even now they still make great hard rock.

This new song improves the longer it goes on and by the end you'll be fist pumping.

Like this. It's got that Amberian Dawn / Abba metal vibe.

I haven't no, I'll check it out later when I'm organising my stuff ready for the house move in a month or so

Threads is good, but because it's a collab album with different artists on each song it's understandabley a bit uneven. What's she's done with Johnny Cash is really cool though, she's made a duet out of a solo cover version he did before he died.
