I thought the same, it's very 'same but different' can't really explain it. Needs some new keyboard sounds I think lol.

Bought a new JVC Hi-Fi today. Not a top end model but an improvement sound quality wise from my current or should i say last one which was one of those all in one things (cd, radio, tape, turn table).

It actually has bass and treble controls too which i like as i hate those preset pop, jazz, rock functions on most hi-fi's.

First cd in was the recent reissue of Appetite for Destruction followed by Seventh Son of a Seventh Son.

I just haven't got into Delain.

What's the verdict on the new album?

I know i've asked this before but which is considered their best album?

I feel like i'm missing something.

Dem, It's best start at the beginning and go from there.
The first album LUCIDITY was a sort of amalgamation of different musicians.
Keyboard player Martijn Westerholt , vocalist Charlotte Wessels, Marco Hietala, Ad Sluijter, Guus Eikens, Jan Yrlund, Ariën van Weesenbeek, Sharon den Adel, Liv Kristine and George Oosthoek.

Go for it. You will not be disappointed.

Thanks. I'll wait until it's on Music Magpie then give it a go. That way if i'm really not keen i'll only have wasted £2,3,4 rather than a tenner.

It's on youtube if you want a listen. I know it's not the same but through headphones will sound good.

April Rain remains my favourite. The Human Contradiction is probably 2nd, followed by Moonbathers. Not too fond of either Lucidity or We are the Others personally. Although each album has at least 3 or 4 tracks that are good and for me, my top 3 only have a couple of weak tracks between them.

Okay, seeing as you don't agree on their best work.

Which album is the catchiest, boasts the most sing-a-long choruses and pop hooks?
