I think I listened to it a couple of times but it didn't find its way into regular play. I'll listen to it tomorrow to reappraise it with a different mindset.

Wow, just before we closed I put out a sealed cd of that Green Day one. Possibly donated by accident?? No one came in bemoaning that fact though .... hmmmm.

Running Wild - Calico Jack

Port Royal (1988)

If this was released in 2021 by Iron Maiden it would be acknowledged as a classic to be. However because it's at the arse end of a Running Wild album from 33 years ago no one will have ever heard it.

Just saying - The cd version pisses all over this streamed one sound wise.

Having found a heap of live footage of Coil on YT, that's what I've been listening to/watching most of the day tbh.

Happy Demon.

Having read Brett Anderson's book, I'm having a wee Suede binge. One time when we went to see them in Aberdeen, the two chaps beside us in the bar rushed off leaving two full new pints, so me and a mate finished them before going through to see them .... hic.

It might surprise you all to note that a load of Coil things have been added to Spotify, I don't know when; last time I checked, probably last year, only 'Backwards' was on there. I'm getting my fill this evening. There's no 'Horse Rotorvator' or Unnatural Histories (none of the 3...) but a few odds and sods including the 2 compilation albums 'A Guide for Beginners' and 'A Guide for Finishers' which contain some nice earlier songs.
