Todger - 'Ancient Rome' "Our debut single from our upcoming album, SEAS OF OLD. We made this over the Summer of 2020 during the various Covid-19 Lockdown here in the UK. The original plan was to meet up and film a performance video. But unable to get together in the Meat Space, we recorded this across the country, roping in our friends, fans, and families to dress up in toga's and rock out. The stock footage is made up from three films from the 60s and spliced together. - Solo Contro Roma (Alone Against Rome) - 1962 Italian sword and sandals film, a genre also known as "peplum" films - Mythology Of Greece & Rome - 1962 educational documentary - The Spirit Of Rome - a very trippy 1965 documentary by the Encyclopedia Britannica"
