I thought their opening number was really good. Slow and with that powerful single guitar note but after that they went back to songs about shell suits and i turned it off.

The couple of Sparks songs i saw were great fun.
I’ve never really liked Tha Arctic Monkeys.
The Foo Fighters were brilliant. As were Sparks

Manic Street Preachers full performance is on BBC4 HD at 9pm.

The perfect support act for Guns N' Roses at 10pm.

Did he do Rebel Yell?
I'll be having a bit of a binge on catch-up tomorrow, but might catch a few GnR songs later

No Generation Sex are The Sex Pistols and Billy's old band Generation X. Billy Idol and bassist Tony James of Generation X alongside Sex Pistols drummer Paul Cook and guitarist Steve Jones.

They performed songs by those two bands

I shall be watching a movie after Guns N' Roses.

Probably Verhoeven's nunsploitation epic Benedetta.
