Just watched Queens of the Stone Age headline set. Fantastic! Definitely the opposite of Elton John, who was himself very good even if he did waddle about like he'd peed his pants, seemed a mad end to the festival with pits opening up throughout the set and the crowd going mental for the last two songs. Groovy dance rock mixed with classic desert sludge. |

Have to say, I thought this year’s Glastonbury was brilliant. Fantastic sets from the likes of Foo Fighters, Guns n Roses, Sparks, Cat Stevens, The Pretenders and more. Plus, The Blossoms and Rick Ashley play The Smiths! There were also a few other bands I hadn’t heard before but really liked ( Royal Blood, The War On Drugs ). Also nice to see the lack of all that rap shite as well. They’ll do well to top this next year. |

Bjork Debut
Where does the time go? Apple Music gleefully let me know that this week is the 30th anniversary of the release of Bjork's debut album. This copy that I still have I bought when it came out so it's 30 years old and still looks brand new IMG_2205.jpg

I agree, apart from The Writing on the Wall which I just can't convince myself to love, I like it, but it's the weakest song on the album for me, and it sticks out like a sore thumb stylistically.
