Same here. Live After Death on cassette being the first proper metal album i was given for my birthday.

I don?t think anyone bought my first album for me, but I remember specifically buying Number of the Beast on tape for ?3.99 from our price. Soon after I got Appetite for Destruction. The first CD I bought was Metallica?s black album which I sadly lost to rot and I have a new copy.

Feck me! Everything was pretty much a step down from then on.

Maiden Killers was the first album I ever bought with my own money my sister kept saying why don't you buy skid row instead of that but the lure of Eddie was too much

I don't own any Bon Jovi anymore Dem

In a similar spirit of rememberence. I watched Lost Highway this evening, the opening credits are so good with this song. I'm far from being a Bowie fan but this particular song does it for me,
