Having already been confirmed for a coveted Apollo stage performance on the Saturday of this year's Sonisphere Festival, thrash legends Anthrax will now additionally play their classic album ‘Among The Living’ in its entirety. The special performance will take place on the Friday in Bohemia. Not sure how many people here it will appeal to, but worth a post anyway. Independent Extreme Metal festival "'kin Hell Fest" have released a 122 track compilation in an effort to help clear the debt left over from this year's festival. It's available via Bandcamp as a 1gb download for just £5. A definite must for fans of Thrash, Death and/or Black Metal, or anyone with an interest in new and rising metal music (check out in particular the tracks by The Infernal Sea and Morti Viventi - the latter being a Slayer-esque Thrash project by a bloke I used to work with, his upcoming album focusing on zombies and horror movies, and the former being a Blackened Death metal album from my hometown, with this song inspired by Rosemary's Baby).
