So Guns n' Roses are finally getting back together.

Well three of them at least, no news on second guitarist or drummer yet.

Personally i'm not interested in any live shows until they've produced new music together. It's easy for me to say i know having seen them support Appetite and the Illusion albums.

I never saw GnR in the height of their fame but to be honest I don't think I'd go and see them now as it would be like a fancy tribute act that features the original members... 25 years later haha

Yes i agree. That's why they'd have to make a new album for me. So they avoid the tribute act tag and actually become relevant.

One for the 'game-players'

"BE PART OF THE LEGACY

Introducing IRON MAIDEN: LEGACY OF THE BEAST.
An epic free-to-play mobile role playing game, set in the expansive Iron Maiden universe.

COMING SUMMER 2016

Battle as Eddie in his many guises across worlds inspired by the rich lore and music of Iron Maiden - one of the most iconic and influential bands of all time.

A mysterious force has shattered Eddie’s soul and scattered the shards. Travel through time and space collecting the pieces as you encounter a cast of dramatic and engaging characters.

A powerful soundtrack enhances gameplay, using songs spanning Iron Maiden’s entire career, including previously unheard live recordings adapted for the game by engineer Tony Newton under the close scrutiny of Steve Harris."

Be Part of the Legacy

Legacy Of The Beast will be available on iOS and Android devices.

"Maiden's Steve Harris, who is overseeing the project, said: "We always thought Maiden's music and imagery with Eddie could be perfect for gaming and it's something we have been looking at doing again since Ed Hunter in 1999," he said. "Now in 2016, it can all be done on a smartphone which makes it even more accessible for all our fans and also all the gamers out there."

James Hursthouse, CEO of game developers Roadhouse Interactive added, "As a lifelong fan, I have always thought that Maiden's music, lyrics and cast of characters would provide the perfect basis for a deep RPG experience. With this game, we're creating an outstanding RPG that will appeal to all mobile gamers, including those discovering Maiden for the first time."

There's no specific release date for Legacy Of The Beast just yet, but it's expected to land in Summer 2016."

With Motley Crue now allegedly over, Nikki Sixx is recording a new album and preparing to go on tour with Sixx A.M., Vince Neil is already out on a solo tour and preparing to make another solo record and Mick Mars is making a solo record.

Which begs the question why bother to stop Motley Crue? They are all doing the same things except solo and in front of far smaller crowds and / or fewer record sales.
