I'd be happy if it is true though because I'll be going to the Liverpool show if it is. It's been way too long since the album came out already!

It'll be a first if they play Leeds and Sheffield and Liverpool and Manchester not to mention Nottingham and Birmingham.

I think there are too many gigs too near to one another for this to be real.

Perhaps i'm wrong and they really are taking it to the people.

I think it's too many gigs for an arena tour. If it was 1989 that would be realistic but not now. I was imagining more like 5 or 6 dates. Probably be the usual London, Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield, Glasgow and Newcastle or Sunderland.

The last 'full UK tour' (in 2011) was quite extensive:

Glasgow, Aberdeen, Newcastle, Sheffield, Nottingham, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, Belfast and London - 11 dates between July 20th - August 6th

That Maiden poster is popping up on facebook now, apparently the troopervip.com website has recently been registered to person who runs the Maiden website.

Still a week until they allegedly announce the tour - I'm really excited!

It's a good bit of marketing. Allowing the real fans prior knowledge of the dates so hopefully they can book tickets before the scum get them to sell at exorbitant prices.

Because the venues are close to each other people are also talking about going to 2 or 3 dates rather than just 1.
