I would very much like this at some point. Christmas would be nice.

Looks like there's going to be one final Soundgarden album featuring seven songs with Chris Cornell recorded before he passed away.

Cancer
Stone Age Mind
Road Less Traveled
Orphans
At Ophians Door
Ahead Of The Dog
Merrmas

Following the resolution of a dispute with Chris' wife the songs can now be released

Motley Crue are recording new material with producer Bob Rock and new guitarist John 5.

Nikki Sixx -

Quote:
"I got one done and gonna try to wrap up the next one and show it to the guys. Bob Rock is pushing us hard and bringing out the best in us. Tommy is playing his ass off. Jesus, these drums sound huge."
Quote:
"Probably lay down my final bass tracks in the next few days. John is so fast I’m sure he will get all the songs done in just a few days. But then again Bob Rock loves those huge walls of guitars so it could take a moment."

The rather fun subscriber cover of the latest issue of Metal Hammer, edited by Jack Black and Kyle Gas aka Tenacious D.

I have been watching some old Headbangers Ball shows on YouTube from Donington 92 to 96. It's funny looking back stuff I thought was great at the time I find absolute rubbish now

The main thing that struck me was that nearly every band interviewed were complete dickheads trying to be metal but had no respect for Venessa. Blackie Lawless , Biohazard and Ozzy Iron Maiden were the only ones that did proper respectful interviews and weren't trying to be all macho metal meatheads.

Some of it was just bloody hard and embarrassing
