I've seen The Darkness once and they paled in comparison to Ash, who were supporting them.

They had a good stage show with Justin Hawkins riding a giant white tiger elevated above the front of the standing area, but the sound design was pretty awful.

Ash were very good and deserved headline status that night.

Think I saw them on that tour as well, saw them in Manchester doing same thing, that was first time I saw them.
