Apparently the registered for pressale tickets are already up for sale at stupid prices, https://news.sky.com/story/oasis-iss...ning-after-ale Why don't they bring in a law that no one at all is allowed to sell tickets above the face value including sites like Ticketmaster, anyone doing so faces prosecution. |

148 quid to stand in a field with a load of Gallagher wannabe's? No thanks. |

What gets me is some places its better be seated around the side at least you can see and have a decent view, imagine having the illusion of paying more to stand and you're right at the very back of a crowd struggling to see because of literally thousands of heads in your way.

I learnt my lesson at Donington and Reading back in the 80's Some festival events are fun, but when you get somewhere that has 20+ thousand people in the crowd... it's a hard 'NO' from me

Either way if you or someone you know trying for a ticket best of luck and hope you get one. Here a couple of pics of fans from Ireland trying their luck. Last edited by gag; 31st August 2024 at 07:42 AM. |

Oasis fans scramble for tickets as band warns against reselling / BBC News "Shortly after a three-hour pre-sale for a limited number of fans began on Friday, tickets for the UK gigs were being listed online for more than UK$6,000 - around 40 times the face value of a standing ticket. Oasis urged people not to resell tickets at higher prices on websites not linked to their promoter, and said they would be "cancelled". Soon after Friday's pre-sale began, ticket listings appeared on resale websites like StubHub and Viagogo, including:" - UK$6,000 for Oasis's show at Wembley Stadium in London on 26 July - Between UK$916 and UK$4,519 for the first concert of the tour at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on 4 July - Over UK$4,000 for standing tickets at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium on 12 August - More than UK$2,500 for the band's homecoming concert at Manchester's Heaton Park on 12 July "Ahead of the pre-sale, promoters said standing tickets will cost about UK$150, while standard seated tickets range from UK$73 to about UK$205. Prices for official premium packages go up to UK$506."

I thought the original prices were quite high considering the band haven't played live in a very long time, are not the original lineup, and will not have the energy they did in the 1990s, so I'm a bit surprised by the demand and those ridiculous prices on the secondary market.
