![]() Mine was shipped a couple of days ago, so I hope it arrives early next week. On Suzy's recommendation, I've bought (and listened to) the following Manic Street Preachers albums: Gold Against the Soul The Holy Bible: 10th Anniversary Edition Generation Terrorists Forever Delayed Lipstick Traces

![]() As I ordered it from an American seller, I haven't received Generation Terrorists yet but, of the others, it's tough to pick a favourite. As I'm unfamiliar with the early material, it's quite easy to listen to Lipstick Traces as a compilation album, with only the second disc (of covers) providing familiar listening material. I really like The Holy Bible and Gold Against the Soul and plan to watch the DVD which is part of The Holy Bible set sometime this weekend. All in all, I now know why you rate them so highly and the songs which were either written or cowritten by Richey Edwards are more complex and intelligent than those on Everything Must Go and This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours.

I like all three albums - the Dookie-like sound of ¡Uno!, the raw Garage rock songs of ¡Dos!, and the lovely pop songs and ballads of ¡Tré!. Excellent stuff! Greetings! |
