Picked up the new Mogwai album "Les Revenants" on vinyl the other day. It's the soundtrack to a new French TV show about zombies. Beautiful stuff, very low key and haunting.

Obviously the Slayer and Blondie releases are live dvd's and were picked up for 1p plus postage thanks to Zoverstocks undercutting someone selling them described as "used with surface marks".

Listing items with that sort of description was my tactic when I wanted to buy stuff cheaply from Zoverstocks.


Last album bought for me was the deluxe edition of Push the Sky Away, the new Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds albim

Just ordered the Mondo Records release of the Drive soundtrack, and it's sold out now, so I'm pretty chuffed with that.

Ballad of the Broken Seas is a beautiful album. Isobels delightful voice is a stark contrast to Lanegan's gravelly drawl.
