There was a really sleazy nightclub in it, called Basins, where I saw Nik Turner, Huw Lloyd Langton Band and Bob Calvert many years ago

I did the whole acid house thing, but my best memories are from much later, when I use to go to a club midweek in Camden, "The Loft" with Paul "Trouble" Anderson. Only a tiny place, but no moody people, as everyone there were strictly there to hear (soulful House) music they loved.
