Not my favourite band (they were a bit too 'musical' for me), but certainly the worlds bravest drummer

Proscriptor McGovern is an awesome drummer. He once tried out for Slayer, but they went with Paul Bostaph instead.

I have seen RUSH live a few times and Neil Pert just owns the drum kit like a fat man on a bag of doughnuts after a long jog and no breakfast!. he is brilliant to watch. I mean Neil Pert not me with a bag of jammy doughnuts after that jog this morning.

Drum solos are the most boring part of a rock concert, but I agree with your comment

I haven't seen Rush (yet), but I do have all the live DVD releases, and Neil Peart's solo spots are very good, and watchable
