Didn't know that this version of HOTEOTP is uncut compared to the Shameless DVD. Thought it would be the same version of the film with different extras like Cannibal Holocaust. A decision will have to be made now. Anyway any idea what Geleng’s House of Horrors is, I'm thinking it's an interview but I was hoping for some sort of Documentary on the film. |

I wouldn't pay full price for the Blu-Ray if you haven't seen it before. It does have an rather annoying plot hole for me however: SPOILER: |
the girl who gets cut with the cut throat razor was not in on it she turned up so she did not know what was going on so she was innocent she was not part of their plan so that's why they did nothing to stop what was going on so they just let it happen the owner of the house orchestrated it but they did not know she was coming |
Looks like 88 Films are releasing The Untold Story, they've teased an announcement and there's a recent submission to the BBFC which has been passed |

I do wonder if Dr Lamb will be forthcoming now. Also they've posted a picture of American Pie 2, that could be interesting if it's a box set of the original movies |
Picture of witchfinder general on site too. |

1 Attachment(s) 'Taxi Hunter' (1993) - Coming to Blu-ray Release date: June 13 "One of the most infamous movies branded with Hong Kong's 'adults only' Category III rating, Taxi Hunter bravely tackles the under-explored scourge of - er - unprofessional taxi drivers. After his pregnant wife is perishes through the actions of a careless (and callous) cabby, mild-mannered Ah Kin (Anthony 'king of the Cat III's' Wong) declares war on the entire profession - and you don't need 'The Knowledge' to know he won't be leaving a tip... Directed by Herman Yau (who unleashed Ebola Syndrome on an unsuspecting world) 88 Films are pleased to present this important treatise on public transport in a wonderful new blu-ray edition." |

I like D-Tox One to pick up at some point when it's less than seventeen quid. |
I m sure I've said it before. D-tox isn't bad like they made out it was when it first came out, it was just at a time when most film reviewers were bad mouthing 80s action stars not called Bruce. It has the cast and the location for a great version of "and then there were none" just needed a better script. |

"Ko Chun is the greatest high-roller in the world, king of the casino and as cool as only an in-his-prime Chow Yun-fat (Hard Boiled; Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) can be. But that's before a nasty head injury renders him mentally disabled. After being befriended by unscrupulous hustler 'Knife' (golden-throated Canto-Pop king Andy Lau), it is discovered that, despite his other impairments, Ko's unerring instincts for gambling remain intact. Knife thinks he's on to a sure thing but Ko still has enemies and they haven't forgotten him... A huge hit on its original release, and one of the defining films of Chow Yun-fat's astonishing career, the card-sharks at 88 Films are proud to roll the dice on a gloriously restored version of this Hong Kong classic" Special features:

THE BIG SWITCH and MAN OF VIOLENCE are already available on the BFI Flipside series, plus the original price tag if £80 was excessive. This new collection is far more accessible ( and affordable ) and it’s now gone on to my ‘ to buy’ list. |

Like you it's more of an interest now with a lower price even though i don't actually know what that lower price is. |
The 88 Films Thread Curious to see what’s going to be on The Bloody Judge disc, always happy for more Jess on Blu-ray! The DVD is fine but still! |

The reason I ‘think’ is because that’s the price listed on Amazon. And as we know, some of Amazon’s pre order prices are a load of shite, so it might be even cheaper! £40 is much more reasonable though. |

And once he's solved that case, he's back undercover in the sequels, demonstrating that he should have paid more attention in his lessons. This is the first time all three films have been released together on blu-ray, and 88 Films are thrilled to present the world premier of this classic trilogy of Cantonese comedy" Special features: Fight Back to School (1991)
