Both the Full Moon & 88 Films blu-rays of Tourist Trap are missing 5 minutes of footage. Looks like Full Moon knew it was shorter, as it's a different (new commentary with the director on the disc. Not good!

My copy will likely arrive this morning as it failed to arrive thursday,This is my 1st time with the film & was very excited now am rather let down

Is 88 Films' DVD the one to go for then? Never seen it and was considering picking up the Blu until all this came to light

I've already got 88's DVD of Tourist Trap. I watched it, and personally didn't consider it worth the BD upgrade. It wasn't bad though.

any idea why? love the film but have dvd and personally only a steelbook version would have made me buy it again

No idea yet. The director, who even did a new commentary for the disc, didn't notice until it was pointed out to him. He compared it to a dvd and He's going to speak to Charles Band to see what's going on.
