I'm not sure whether it's one of those 'you have to be in the right mood' films, but I really like it as it's an unusual feminist take on the cannibal genre, and surprisingly funny and smart. It's written by J. F. Lawton, who went on to write the screenplay for Pretty Woman and Under Siege, and has some of the same knowing humour, so it is worth checking out.

I've never seen Avocado Jungle so it's probably a rental for me. Children of The Corn I've never seen too, I struggle with Stephen King films at the best of times so I'm not pre-ordering.

I do though have a desperate desire to pre-order all the remaining Slasher Classics for 2015. I could wait for their official releases and buy from Amazon or HMV at the usual £9.99 price or pay £12.99 and have them two or three weeks before the release date. Oh what to do?

If it makes any difference, Children of the Corn is, like The Shawshank Redemption, 1408 and The Mist, based on a short story/novella rather than a lengthy novel.

The first is a classic.
The second was keech.
And the third was better than the second.

However, all three are classics compared to the later sequels when Dimension took over the franchise.

A must buy for me.

A Blade in the Dark arrived today complete with paper thin flyer, certainly not a "Collectable Poster Artcard" as stated.

Print the cheap flyers that you give away with direct orders on paper by all means but take a little more pride in the one you include and advertise with/on the package.

Very disappointed!!!

Other than be pissed off with them, what do people actually do with these or any other art card?

I rarely give them a second glance. I couldn't tell you which Arrow ones I had or how many of them were duplicates without going through every case.

I know a lot of people like to collect them though.
