Burial Ground does look fantastic, they did a great job on that one - the quality of the film is another matter though

One thing that irks me about 88 Films BDs is their disc authoring, why do they block changing of audio streams unless you stop the film and select the audio from the settings? It wouldn't be so bad if there was a resume button but you have to start again from the start.

Most of the time this isn't an issue but on a dubbed Italian film you sometimes want to see which dub is the least shit

Watched their NIADB blu last night, with the comm from producer Bill Paul.
He certainly remembers the production, though not always kindly haha. Print looked slightly clearer than my CR dvd, certainly during the 42nd St sequence anyhow. Have not yet checked out the CR blu, though my PS3 plays it, so it won't be long.

I thought Emanuelle looked a bit soft, but it was a lot better than the previous dvd releases.

I've asked 88 about the soundtracks before and why you can't switch between the two languages while watching the films. It comes down to rights and contracts, the lincensors are specifying it to them.

Can you explain that a bit better?

You can't toggle between soundtracks due to rights even though they are on the disc?

Some of 88's upcoming releases are only £8.85 on Amazon:

Flesh Eating Mothers
Prozzie
Sewage Baby

Plus, Puppet Master 4 & 5 are only £7.96 a piece.

My thoughts exactly.

It sounds more like a disc encoding/replicating issue to me.
