Any chance of you 'cutting & pasting' the email here?

It is scare mongerong until any actual evidence is released.

The situation is that they are restoring the film and producing an uncut and uncensored master, no false advertising.

HOWEVER, there is a cock fight in the movie, and by law, unless they prove that they didn't arrange it or that it was just documented, it could get cut by a couple of seconds for a cock fight. That's all.

If you want to cancel or get a refund for 4, soon to be 5 newly restored releases w/ slip cases bc one may be missing a couple of seconds of a cock fight, go ahead but I am definitely confused.

If Dinosaur Valley is cut it'll only be seconds literally and nothing of any importance, it's not like their releasing Ferox which would still have have whole scenes removed. Until Valley is formally submitted to the BBFC we really have no idea, it may pass fully uncut it may have a few seconds missing. Perhaps 88 were only aware of the previous cuts imposed of the blood on breasts etc?

Either that or they are completely confident they can pass the dock fight through. They might have documentation or evidence that would help it through without a doubt which is why they haven't even hesitates about it.

I think the issue is that they have promised it as uncut and used this in their promotion of the IG campaign, when this mightnot be the case. The whole "I won't buy uncut" badge of honour that genre fans wear bores me to tears to be honest, like it or lump it we ain't gonna be getting animal violence in our movies anytime soon so just deal with it and stop going on and on about cut films. BUT, this is different because if it is cut then people who have pledged have been somewhat misled.

All speculation until we know for certian eitherway of course

If films cannot be released uncut then they should not be. If someone has such a profound issue with certain scenes then they should avoid the title altogether. Its like saying I like Triumph Of The Will but only with the Nazi bits cut out. Watching the scene comparison on my copy of Cut And Run really highlighed for the silliness of it all.
Hope they get an uncut form for the sake of the folks helping fund this stuff.
