It's gloriously dumb. The lead character obeys the instructions on his radio. He supports his gambling habit by seducing and killing rich women then stealing whatevers lying around the house.

Touch of Death is pretty fun, but is certainly lesser Fulci.

Prince Vajda posted some nice stills from it in the Film Stills thread not too long ago.

I have the old EC Entertainment DVD:

Not a fan of that Vault logo on the front. If they don't have reversible covers without the logo, i'm going to have to pass.

(No I'm not kidding.)

Pleased about the hk titles as well.
I'd like to see them release SODOMA'S GHOST too. Any of the lesser seen Fulci would be very welcome.

I think I'm going to give the Vault Series a miss and save myself some money. I already have 3 of the 5 on BD and I can't see them topping what's already available. Creepozoids doesn't do it for me and the brief trailer for Joe Bullet I saw just reminds me of Homer singing some theme tune. " He's the man. The man who fights evil, He's the man that criminals feeeeeear, Beware-air if he's looking for you-oooo, Looks so bad, it's just bad!!

It would appear...that 88Films are bringing out the previously released 'The Creeps' as a Blu-Ray

Perfume is now shipping direct from the webshop, I've had my despatch email this afternoon.

I'm pretty happy with 88's announcements today, it's nice to see some already released HD titles get proper UK releases. Yes they've been released by Synapse and Vinegar Syndrome but it's nice to see a company taking a punt on these for UK release.

Touch of Death the guys told me about last week via an email exchange, it is lesser Fulci but it's so completely mad and gory it's a joy to watch. I imagine 88 will be using the same HD master that the recent German blu uses which from screencaps I've seen looks pretty good. The film is never going to look amazing due the elements available and the budget constraints.

I'd be happy to see any of the 'Lucio Fulci presents' titles get a release, Snake House has alluded me for years. There is a DVD release but I think it's Italian language without English subtitles. Murder Secret is silly, silly fun.
