'Spiritual Kung Fu'

Release date: October 24th

"This time we join Jackie with his head in a book and some helpful ghostly kung fu teachers! Believe it or not that spells action scenes aplenty as Jackie needs a manual which has been stolen from his temple in order to combat the ‘7Fists’. In the wrong hands this knowledge could spell disaster so it’s up to Jackie to track down the traitor and counter the deadly fight moves that the book has endowed upon the thief.

This early Jackie Chan gem lets him play the type of bumbling student role he perfected in Drunken Master and Snake in the Eagle’s Shadow to great effect. Cue a raft of amusing fight scenes under the direction of Lo Wei (Fist of Fury) and you’ve got quality armchair comic action viewing that’s not to be missed!"

  • Limited Edition slipcase (3000 Units) with new Artwork
  • BRAND NEW 2K Remaster
  • Cantonese Mono Soundtrack
  • Mandarin Mono Soundtrack
  • Classic English Dub Soundtrack
  • Cantonese Mono Soundtrack
  • Newly Translated Subtitles by Chen Lung
  • Rick Baker ON Spiritual Kung Fu Featurette

All the great new titles on blu only and one that has been released on dvd previously gets a dvd release - madness.

I have Ten to Midnight so there's no sale from me but i would definitely have bought Moon in Scorpio and several of their other Italian / Slasher releases had they released them on dvd or as duals.

I know it's annoying, I liked it when 88 and 101 Films released DVD's as well as the Blu-Rays and when Arrow Dual Disc their films but as a moving house present to myself, I bought a Blu-Ray Player as too much stuff from these companies I was wanting.

TBH, maybe these companies should think about releasing these Blu-Ray only releases on DVD (If they can) I say this because there is a shortage of new release films that are going to be released on DVD in the very near future because other than Mis-Behaviour and Scoob, no films that had Cinema releases are going to be out on DVD, so therefore there's a gap in the market to exploit possibly.

It's really strange because you wouldn't believe the number of recent "mainstream" films from companies (including the majors) that are only getting dvd releases here in the UK.

A prime example is The Hunt. Univerasal are only releasing it on dvd here. That's madness.
